I CAN'T STOP THINKING ABOUT BABUSHKA BOI

There isn’t a week that goes by where I don’t think about the Babushka Boi music video. Not only does the song have a catchy syncopation and an addicting hook, it is a perfect marriage with it's visual counterpart. Directed by visionary Nadia Lee Cohen (@nadialeelee), it features a Dick Tracy inspired story line with cops and robbers, with a cast of well-known rap artists as Rocky's fellow bank robbers with cartoonish facial prosthetics (hey there @groovyq and @asapferg). We get a playfully cinematic story line with a brilliant color palette and plenty of ASAP Rocky’s signature headscarves but one of my favorite parts of the video is the all too timely portrayal of pigs dressed as police. Like wine, this music video gets better with age and continues to live rent free in my mind.
