SMALL BRAND SPOTLIGHT: BOREDBEADS

“Bored Beads was started out of quarantine boredom by jamie and marie, two queer humans trying out a new hobby. They could not have expected the response when they started selling their pieces on instagram, and that support has only grown! Over the months, Jamie and Marie have made over 700 pieces of jewelry, many of which come from recycled beads. Each piece is unique (boredbeads rarely makes duplicate styles) reflecting the beautiful singularity of our supporters. Boredbeads is for everyone and anyone who wants to adorn themselves. Along with keeping their prices incredibly reasonable (you’ll seldom find a piece of jewelry over $15) boredbeads has been able to donate over $500 in total to various mutual aid causes, including ones for COVID-relief, BLM resources, and Indigenous organizations.

Head on over to boredbeads.com or @boredbeads on instagram (as well as tiktok and pinterest) for a look at our collections and learn more about their work! Plus, if you ever purchase a pair of beads, be sure to dm them a picture so they can show you off!
